Conference Announcement - Advancing Online Learning Conference II (AOLC II)
I got this conference announcement in one of the NACOL forums.
The Virtual High School Global Consortium has established the Advancing Online Learning Conference (AOLC). This conference is dedicated to advancing the state of the art in K-12 online learning and will provide quality professional development opportunities for K-12 online learning practitioners. VHS held the first AOLC conference in September, 2006 in celebration of its 10th anniversary. AOLC II will be held on April 9-11, 2008 in Nashua, New Hampshire.I'm sorry to say that I won't be in attendance, but thought others may be interested.
The conference program is be planned by a group of national experts in the K-12 online learning field. Taking into account the feedback we have received from past conference attendees and VHS member schools, the sessions will address the use of emerging technologies, the development of 21st Century skills, quality online instruction, how to best support online learning at the local school, and much more!
