Online charter competition heats up in Oregon

Because of a state law, a for-profit Oregon online charter school currently has a virtual monopoly. However, that may change, as Insight Schools -- which also runs online charter schools in California and Washington state -- has backers who reportedly plan to seek a residency requirement waiver from the state education board.
